CHOICES AND SEEKING RIGHT - Part 2

Yesterday, I ended by saying I see God constantly pointing you in the direction to GO. However, the choice is yours! Selah....think deeply upon this.

Do you know that 'God always gives His best to those who leave the choice with Him' quote by Warren Wiersbe. This leads us to the subject of seeking God or better still, seeking to please God.

A lad will always trust his Daddy and if Daddy says 'jump', he jumps because Daddy said so and because he has absolute trust that Daddy won't let him fall. Can we infer therefore that our inability to trust God in our decision making may be attributed to not knowing Him? The 3 Hebrew children opted for the fiery burning furnace and Daniel, the Lion's den because they knew their God. (Daniel 3: 16 - 18, 6: 16 - 18.

Beloved, who do you seek? You seek what or who you know. Romans 10: 13 'Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. They shall be heard. They will be recognised. They will be accepted and then, they shall be saved. Matt 7: 8 says for certainly, everyone who keeps on asking receives and he who keeps seeking finds...

Do you know that God is not far from you. He's even closer to you than the clothes on you. I hear someone said I can't see Him. How come I have been going through all these without respite? I assure you He sees, He knows, He feels and above all He cares. Wait a moment, a look at the pattern of events around you - you will surely find out that God has always been present for you.

Maybe you need to move closer to Him. When James 4: 8 said 'Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you; it underscores my and your need for God much more than His need for Man. Imagine the one whose throne is in the Heavens and the earth, his footstool taking just one step to draw nigh to you?

We also need to understand that necessity is placed upon us as soldier to please Him. If you choose to join an organization, then, you are bound by its rules and regulations. I also know that compliance with organizational terms has not been hard for many us. So, why do we find it hard to comply with the Kingdom's requirements?

2 Tim 2; 4 GNT - A soldier on active duty wants to please his commanding officer and so does not get mixed up in the affairs of civilian life.

AMP - No soldier when in service gets entangled in the enterprises of (civilian) life; his aim is to satisfy and please the one who enlisted him.

Beloved, choosing right is about fulfilling purpose. That's what is keeping you awake at night. That's the compelling motivation for living. If we strive to fulfil purpose on earth which is temporal, should we not pay more diligence to fulfilling purpose for eternity which is everlasting?

Finally, beloved brethen, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Phil 4: 8. Give attention and time to the truth of the choices of the past and their consequences today and let's rely and depend on God absolutely for our today's choices...

God always gives His best to those who leave the choice with Him' quote by Warren Wiersbe.

The Best is yet to Come! Wait on the Lord for the Best Now and Always.

Shalom and Blessings!!!
