Rhema in Due Season (RiDs) Thursday 14th Feb 2013

Wisdom is the application of knowledge and its essential for existence upon the earth. It is a deep understanding and realization of people, things, events or situations, resulting in the ability to apply perceptions, judgments and actions in keeping with this understanding. It can also be seen as discernment, or insight.

A closer study of the books of Proverbs however shows that the Holy Spirit is also the Spirit of Wisdom. Consequently, we can say that the Holy Spirit (who is WISDOM personified) gives, inspires, transmits and propels wisdom for all situations.

It appears to me that all that a man may be struggling for in life is available in wisdom. Since this is true, is not easier for us to pursue wisdom? There is so much stress around already, we need to explore the opportunities and relieves already available for US.

For instance, if you seek direction in life, seek it within Wisdom. Ecclesiastics 10: 10 if the iron is blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put more strength; but wisdom is profitable to direct
The absence of godly wisdom is travails and sorrow. Ecclesiastics 2: 26 – For God gives to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy; but to the sinner, he gives travail.

Did I hear you say but I truly long for wisdom, I always seek for God's direction and guidance in all I do – then, I encourage you to keep at it because He will always give wise counsel and guidance. Proverb 2: 6 – For the Lord gives wisdom; out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding

We are in the marketplace – business, commerce, government, administration, private or public. Wisdom is needed in every strata of life and sound wisdom is require for positive impact. Do you know that the extent of wisdom you demonstrate, manifest and radiates is a measure of wisdom you have accessed? Prov 1: 20 – Wisdom cries aloud in the street, she raises her voice in the market. I encourage to wait, and listen...

One of the principal responsibilities of Wisdom is defence (Ecclesiastes 7: 12). I have seen wisdom operates as a tool for defence indeed. Let me share 3 stories with you.

Armed robbers were robbing a Block of 6 flats. When one of them knocked at the door of a Pastor friend who stays on the last floor (3rd floor), he opened up and saw the strange looking guy. The robber told him "I'm looking for Daddy". Though he was the head of the home, his response by wisdom was 'Daddy is not here, check him downstairs'. And the armed robber turned and went to rob the flats downstairs. It was only after the operation was over that it clicked in him that the guy was an armed robber.
Beloved, wisdom will always give you the appropriate word to silence all your mockers and adversary, known and unknown.

In 1 Samuel 21: 11 – 15, David suddenly found himself in the enemy's territory. He was captured and was taken to the palace of the king. Vs 13 'And David changed his behaviour before them, and feigned madness, scrabbled on the floor and allow spittle fall from his mouth…..and the king threw him out as a madman. This can only be instant inspiration through Wisdom. The Lord that delivered David in such a crucial moment of Life is able to show up for you. Wisdom is profitable to direct, inspire and instruct you for all situation.

I know of a young Christian who sought God's guidance for an examination; God led him to read and solve verbatim just one past question, the same past question came in the examination and he got A+. I reiterate again and again, the same wisdom is available for you.

There is only one person who will not have access to wisdom Proverb 24: 7 – Wisdom is too high for a fool; he opens not his mouth in the gate. Proverbs 14: 33 – Wisdom rests in the mind and heart of him who has understanding….

Do you need wisdom for any situation in life whatsoever, let me assure you, the required wisdom is already available – you just need to access it. James 1: 5. Beloved, lets learn to seek from the God of all Wisdom.

I decree and declare, specific wisdom for your specific situation, and for all your endeavours, receive in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Shalom and Blessings!!!
