Healing through Forgiveness

Yesterday, we consider undeniable cry. Today message a continuation. For the Lord to hear your cry, you must be able to hear the cries of others.

To err is human but to forgive is divine. Forgiveness is exercising the personal discretion not to hold someone in your heart. To forgive is to give up resentment or claim to requital for. It is to cease to feel resentment against an offender.

There was the story of woman at the delivery ward of a Church maternity centre who was unable to deliver or bring forth her baby despite the fervent prayers of the Prayer warriors. The Lord later revealed that the delay was due to un forgiveness. Counsellors spoke to her on the danger and implication of un forgiveness. Do you know that it was her husband she had the grudge against? The moment she forgave and release him from her heart, the baby came forth.

From the above, we can deduce that inability to forgive may be attributed to a negative spirit and often may lead to far reaching negative consequences. Beloved, are you harbouring this negative spirit? Please watch it, it can impact and have far reaching effect on you and your loved ones.

Matt 18: 26 the servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me and I will pay thee all.
Vs 27 then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him and forgave him the debt.
Vs 32 then his lord after that he had called him saith unto him, O thou wicked servant. I forgive thee all that debt because thou desiredst me.
Vs 33 shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant?

Are we like this servant who was forgiven much but he was unable to find grace to forgive a fellow servant? Ponder on these things.

Tips to living a life free of offence and full of forgiveness

1. Appreciate the fact that man will always make mistake.

2. To forgive is to demonstrate a superior spirit.

3. Un forgiveness is a yoke and a burden - this is not desirable for you.

4. Christ paid in full for all your offences; you also are commanded to love and forgive.

5. When you forgive, you are demonstrating some of the virtues of Jesus - as He is, so are we in this world.

6. Just like love, forgiveness covers a multitude of offences. Keep on forgiving 4900 daily because this is the Lord's commandment.

I trust you will think deeply upon this and allow peace to reign. Behold what manner of love God has shown to man sending his only begotten son to die for all.

It may just be that the yoke of delay will be broken as you forgive. I command and declare, every manipulation on account of un forgiveness be destroyed and terminated in Jesus name. Receive fresh dew of heaven for a life free of offence and be blessed.

Shalom and Blessings!!!
