Topic: Time to Recover

To everything under the earth, there is a time and a season. There's definitely a time to recover that which is lost and I'm glad to announce that 'this is that time for your recovery'

1 Sam 30: 4 - 8
Vs 4 - Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep. (This is category 5 type of weeping - what agony and broken heartedness can be this be compared to?). Are you weeping because you have lost something very special and feels that nobody understands.... David and his men certainly understood having gone through it all.

Vs 6: And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, everyman for his family but David encouraged himself in the Lord. Beloved, it is sometimes difficult to find a positive voice in the midst of negativity. Sorrow often turn to depression if its uncontrolled. A people that were loyal to death could contemplate an uprising against their leader - such is the consequences of uncontrolled sorrow.

Beloved, but David encouraged himself in the Lord. You have an anchor; sure and steadfast but the anchor will only hold when its let down. Someone has to initiate the release of the anchor. Don't allow the ship of sorrow to pull you out of fellowSHIP. Encourage yourself in the Lord. Let down your anchor because it will surely hold in Jesus.

In verses 7 - 8, David who could have been stoned to death by his army turned mob led their turnaround because he encouraged himself in the Lord. God is still in the business of helping men. He remains a very present help in the time of need (Psalm 46:1).
Let this ring loud in your sub consciousness; after every fall comes a season of recovering. And after famine is a season of surplus. I have good news you for you; an end has come to weeping - this is your time for a recovery.

The injunction of the Lord to David can be summed up as follows; Arise, Pursue, Overtake and Recover all.

Do you know that the Lord was already waiting with the solution? He only needed David to ask? David could have missed this moment of recover and joy if he had not encouraged himself in His God. Only God knows the quantum of recoverable situations that became permanently hopeless because men failed to see the silver lining. In the midst of anguish and distressed - David won't fight God or get angry at God; rather he sought comfort in God.

I'm fully persuaded that everytime man turn over the situation to God; He always shows up. When the children of Israel cried unto God in Egypt; he turned up. When they cried because of the Midianites (Judges 6), God sent an Angel to Gideon. The key to your recovery is to call upon God. Call upon me in the time of trouble.

Beloved, why are you sinking lower and deeper because of the weight and load of distress and depression - this is your time for recovery; this is your time for a lifting. Forget not that weeping has an expiry date and Joy comes at daybreak.

As you embrace your season of recovery positively, you will soon begin to see God show up on your behalf.

Shalom and Blessings!!!

The Force of Faith

There are laws that govern activities on the earth. These are both visible and invisible. However, I found the law governing faith most intriguing and exciting. Until the laws of faith is activated, nothing moves. Until you engage the laws and force of faith; things may remain as they are for eternity.

Gen 1; 1 - 3. The state of the earth was pathetic. It was and remained void and full of darkness until the spirit of God, through the operation of faith started to brood over the earth. In the mighty name of Jesus, on your behalf this morning - I engage the force of faith and pray that the spirit of God and His light will brood over every situations concerning you in Jesus Name.

Beloved, creative powers and ability only respond to the force of faith. At God's command in vs 3 - let there be light, light showed forth for the first time. A miracle you have never experienced is about to show forth this season if only you will command it by faith.

This morning - I command, to that man seeking direction - let there be guidance and clarity in Jesus Name. To the fellow, who needs to pay a huge debt - let there be financial breakthrough; receive help to pay the debt. To the young lady weeping within for loneliness in the midst of so many friends, I command genuine fellowship of love; to that business going down hill - I command revival and to several years of barreness and unfruitfulness - I command fruitfulness and abundance in Jesus Name. Amen.

Heb 11: 3 provides further insight by revealing that from time immemorial - the visible things are made from the invisible. In a nut shell, whatever the heart can conceive, it can be achieved. The men of Babel conceived a tower and a city (Gen 11; 1 - 9). It was ONLY the intervention of God that prevented its manifestation because it runs contrary to His Agenda for the earth. That's why I decree concerning you this morning - from today, you will dream big dreams; your dreams will be in alignment with the force of faith and counsel of God and as you engage the invisible forces of the earth; your dreams shall come to pass in Jesus Name.

I see transformation. I see a new order. Through the power of faith, neglect and failure of many generation is being turned around now. That hereditary infirmity in your family lineage can be broken and its broken now in Jesus Name.

Sometimes, you may have to employ the force of faith yourself (Woman with the issue of blood did Luke 8: 43 - 48) and in other instances - the Lord will just showed up (man by the pool Bethesda - John 5: 1 - 15). For instances both Abraham and Sarah laughed at the manifestation of the promised child, yet, God in His mercy still brought forth Isaac. Beloved, your Isaac cometh. Isaac means laughter - through God's mercy, laughter cometh for you. Laughter for your home cometh in Jesus Name.

Beloved, I don't know how God want to settle your matter but I know if and if only you will engage the laws and force of faith, every other law will respond to you positively and swiftly. Remember, Jesus is always looking for the engagement of the force of faith upon the earth. He responded to the men of old; He will surely respond to you.

Shalom and Blessings!!!

Prayer Focus: And it came to pass

I Sam 10: 11 - 13

Vs 11 And it came to pass, when all that knew him (Saul) beforetime saw that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets, then the people said one to another, what is this that is come unto the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?
Vs 12 And one of the same place answered and said, but who is their father? Therefore it became a proverb, is Saul also among the prophets?
Vs 13 And when he had made an end of prophesying, he came to the high place.

Beloved, the water does not struggle to flow; nothing can cover the glory of the sun - when it is time to shine forth, the Sun shines effortlessly. I have a strong witness and assurance in my spirit - your season for daybreak is here. There is an appointed time for you. And in your appointed season, Heaven's mandate over you shall come to pass.

This morning, we are going to use the 3 verses above to pray. Be ready to speak to your glory and virtue - it shall come to pass in Jesus Name.

Prayer Points;

1. My Father, my Father - as it came to pass for Saul, that what was written concerning him came to pass - this month of January 2013 shall not end until your agenda for me has been fulfilled in Jesus mighty Name.

2. Father Lord, Saul woke as an ordinary son of Kish, 48 hours after, he was lifted to the category of phophesying prophets. In the name of Jesus, within the next 48 hours, let my new season break forth. Take me to my next level in Jesus Name.

3. Father Lord, all those who knew Saul beforetime saw a new Saul, in Jesus mighty name, in this year of signs and wonders, turn me to an amazement and wonder to all that know me before now.

4. I command, let the New (insert your name) come forth. Yes, come forth, shine and be lifted in Jesus Name.

5. The transformation of Saul was so glorious that he became the talking point and gist around town - oh Lord, let your glory and power upon my life and household bring great glory and advertisement to your majesty in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

6. In vs 13 - Saul was not distracted by the question and blabbing of the people around him. He finished the mandate (prophesying). Father in the name of Jesus, no power, visible or invisible shall be able to distract, dissuade or derail me in the journey of life, I shall finish well in Jesus Name.

7. In vs 13 - Saul went thereafter to the high place. Father Lord, in this season of daybreak and breakthrough, take me to the high place you have prepared for me. Take me there Lord in Jesus Name.

8. Give Him thanks because this week as you go out and come in, the gracious and mighty God, will prosper you in all your ways In Jesus mighty Name, Amen. Gen 24: 27, 56.

Pray these prayer points with conviction; break forth on the right, left and centre. For surely, it shall also come to pass concerning you ALL that the Father has written concerning you, in Jesus mighty Name, Amen, Amen and Amen.

Shalom and Blessings

The Lord that answereth Prayers

I read from some of you dear readers yesterday and also later confirmed from my end that your RiDs was delivered seven (7) times. A thousand apologies for clogging your email boxes; it was due to technological challenges. However, as I was reflecting on this later in the evening, the Holy Spirit jokingly dropped it in my spirit 'Isn't it interesting that you wrote about going Up Seven times and the message was delivered seven times'? I declare and decree in the mighty Name of Jesus 'The Lord will clog your life with seven fold blessings this season in Jesus Name. The Holy Ghost will multiply your successes, prosperity, celebration, breakthroughs seven times in Jesus Name. Your Joy cometh 7 fold. Amen, Amen and Amen!

Beloved, it is not impossible that there are certain issues of life you have been praying for, the answer seems delayed and you are becoming weary about them. This message is therefore apt for you. Job 22: 27 - 28 says 'You will make your prayer to Him, He will hear you. And you will pay your vows. You will also declare a thing, and it will be established unto you; so light will shine on your ways.

What a message tucked in the book of Job - interestingly, a book that many are afraid to read because of the many sorrows of Job.

This season, you will make your prayers... In other words, someone is going to connect the Heavens. I perceive in my spirit that this is a season of Open Heavens. Hitherto and before now, you may have been knocking but unable to connect. Rise up in faith, pray, knock, seek, connect and engage the heavens. Engage your ministering spirit, place a demand upon God and His words and expect answers to your prayers.

Beloved, until we dare to engage God and His words by faith, you really cannot experience the extent of God's love and His Grace available to you.

A christian lady was driving and her car was going to stop on the highway. She began to speak to the car by faith and in about 3 to 5 mins after, the car picked up.

A christian brother's generation won't start despite several attempts. He looked at the generator, spoke to it, and at the next attempt - it ignited to life and worked.

A beloved brother car keys fell into a deep, muddy and dirty gutter. Several frantic attempts were made to find it without success. After a while, we all stood still over the gutter, prayed a simple prayer, thereafter, at the next attempt - the key was recovered.

Beloved, ALL I am saying this morning is that God still answers prayers. May I ask you dear one - who you are making your prayers to. Job said it - make your prayers to Him. Sir, is it possible that as you were praying, you were also devising your strategy for the solution? There are times we are actually praying but not to Him - because our focus and mind was not even on Him.

Furthermore, don't limit yourself only to prayer. Start to rule by declaration and decree. Do you not know that wherever the word of the King is, there is power. As a believer, you belong to the kingdom of kings and princes.

As you rule by decree this season, the light will shine on your way (vs 28b). The Light, Jesus is the light and He will not only shine on you, He will attend to your matter, and your joy shall be full.

What are you waiting for - it's time to engage the Heavens dearly beloved...

Peace and Blessings!!!

Rhema In Due Season (RidS) - Thursday 24th Jan 2013

Topic: Go Up and Never Give Up

How often do we get discourage due to some unmet expectations. The truth is that every time you try again - you are either closer to the solution or would have eliminated one method that will not work.

Do you also know that there are unseen spiritual forces whose mission is to terminate the joy of the saints just about the point of breakthrough? If you are the type that reacts to drugs, for instance Chloroquine, then recall the extent of discomfort just before dawn? As a child, I suffered greatly from reaction to these quines - I would cry and wish for some drastic thing to happen to put an end to my ordeal. No sooner after, when the day breaks, I always felt a great relieve.

The darkest hour of the night is often about an hour to daybreak. Beloved, weeping, pain, delay, trouble may have endured all the night BUT JOY cometh at daybreak. I prophesy DayBreak for you and yours in Jesus Name. Your daybreak is here. This is your Season for Divine assistance and great success. (Psalm 30: 5)

2 Kings 5: 12c - 13. Naaman the leprous Captain was already at the point of his breakthrough (right before River Jordan) but what did he do 'So he turned and went away in a rage'. Leprosy was about to the terminated but the devil moved him to rage. I pray for you - whatever that has been causing you shame will be terminated Now in Jesus Name. And every power lurking to distract and deny you that breakthrough - let them be swallowed up by FIRE in Jesus Name.

Thank God, Naaman servants were there and persuaded him to wash. I pray for you - the Comforter, the Parakletos, the Holy Spirit, your Ministering Angels will be available at all times to defend, comfort, guide and lead you to your place of breakthrough in Jesus Name. No more 'I almost got it, Now Receive it in FULL in Jesus Name'.

1 Kings 18: 43. After that Elijah had heard the next Agenda of God and declared it 'I hear the sound of abundance of rain'. He said to his servant, go up now, look toward the sea. So he went up and look and said "there is nothing". How often do we approach a new year backed with great expectation, prophetic declarations and prayers and the first few signs are NOTHING. Infact, instead of getting better - what do you see - more misery and discouragement.

But beloved, you know the one in whom you believe. You know him to be the miracle worker. You know him as the God of ALL impossibilities. But Elijah encourage, nay commanded the servant to go up seven times. I come to you this morning with both a word of encouragement as well as a commandment 'Go Up and keep going, Never give up because something great is about to Happen'

If the Lord has said it, be rest assured, He WILL Do it. Do not be move by the absence of the cloud because as you keep the faith and continue to pray consistently - Your miracle will burst through and your Joy shall be full in Jesus Name.

I am full of expectation for YOU that you will celebrate this Season.

Shalom and Blessings!!!

Topic: Walking with God

How do I know the mind of God? What is the will of God concerning a matter? What options do I take amongst two or more alternatives? How do I know whether the voice I am hearing is from God or the devil? These are some of the questions several people are seeking answers to.

Well, don't think it's only happening to you. I dare to say there are many in the same situation with you right now. Joel 3: 14 referred to a multitude of people in the valley of decision.

Do you know that the Lord who is your God from time immemorial has always been walking with men (as many who are willing to walk with Him) and He is still committed to it.

In Gen 3: 8 'And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day.

Gen 5: 24 'Enoch walked FAITHFULLY with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.

In Gen 18: 19, God said concerning Abraham 'For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him...

Isaiah 6: 8 'Then, I heard the voice of the Lord saying 'whom shall I send? And who shall go for us?

I have good news for you dear reader. The God who walked with faithfully men of old is still alive and He will like to fulfil your joy by also walking with you. The most important thing therefore is to be available. If you read the account in Gen 3, you will noticed that even when Adam and Eve had hidden themselves and did not show up because of sin, God still came calling and walking in the garden. Was it that God did not know they had sin? Absolutely No.

The first thing therefore is to discover your garden. You need to discover the meeting point with God. There is a meeting place, a regular meeting place and when you abandoned the spot, you left God with no choice as He will not continue to walk alone.

The hymn by John H Sammis and Daniel B Towner is a pointer to what we need to do.

When we walk with the Lord, in the light of His words, what a Glory He sheds on our way;
When we do His good will, He abides with us still and with all who will trust and obey.

Trust and obey, for there is no other way, to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

What are the steps to walking with God?

1. Walking with God is for children, willing to walk with God. Heb 5; 10 - 14.

2. The key word is to consistently stay with God. Mark 3; 10 - 15, Heb, James 4: 8. The more time you spend with someone, the deeper your knowledge of the person.

3. Recognise the place of the Holy Spirit and always check for guidance. John 16: 7. The parakletos, the Comforter - in other words, the guidance of the Holy Spirit brings comfort.

4. Notwithstanding the fact that God has been talking and walking with you for ages, never take Him for granted, always check with the Holy spirit. Joshua did and he made costly error. Jos 3; 1 - 7, Jos 9. You will not make costly errors in Jesus Name.

5. Beware of the wiles of the devil. Whatever leading or guidance or counsel you are receiving must be consistent with the word of God. If it's not consistent with the Word of God, be very careful about that voice. Therefore learn to test every spirit. 1 John 1:4 enjoins you to test every spirit.

Beloved, the good news is that Jesus is still longing for your fellowship. The primary reason why He made you is for fellowship; every other thing is secondary. And be rest assured, that as you are seeking to walk with you; He is also searching for you - so that He can show himself mighty on your behalf. 2 Chr 16; 9.

This year, as you walk with God consistently, He shall surely show Himself mighty for you and on your behalf. It is so sweet to walk with God.

Make up your mind and start Now!!! Go and Discover your Garden and keep at it consistently.

Shalom and Blessings.

P. U. S. H - Pray Until Something Happens

Beloved,

The expectation of the righteous shall not be cut off. Now we know that expectation is the basis of our hope. It is critical ingredient for faith. Let's not just muse over our expectation this year, rather let us pray and talk to God because as we speak in His hearing, so also He will do Num 14: 28.

Today, let's continue where we stopped on Friday, Shall we pray and make boldly these declarations?

Isa 8: 18
Declaration 1: Father Lord, according to Isa 8: 18, I and the children you have given unto me, we are for signs and wonders, I declare in accordance to your word therefore, Year 2013 is my year of signs, wonders, exploits; for me, for my children, biological and spiritual. My eyes will see the invisibles; my ears will hear the inaudible and my head will not reject God's anointing, capacity and ability to manifest these signs and wonders.

The Almighty God told Pst E. A. Adeboye …that this year, there shall be
unprecedented wave and move of His Glory and power, resulting in at least 1,3m healings, miracles, signs and wonders.

Declaration 2: Father Lord, you watcheth over every of your words to perform them. You are faithful to perform and bring to pass all your promises. In the mighty name of Jesus, I receive your divine visitation upon my life this year. I command my 13 miracles, where ever you are, begin to locate me and come forth, my allocation of miracles, wherever you are, come forth in Jesus mighty Name.

Exo 4: 2, 17
'And the Lord said unto him (Moses) what is that in thine hand? And he said, a Rod...And thou shall take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shall do signs. The truth therefore is that there is a rod in thine hand this year to perform signs and wonders.

Declaration 3: Moses' ordinary shepherd's rod became an extraordinary rod for signs. Samuel had a prophet's staff. Joshua had a warrior's weapon which became a General's staff. Gideon had a farming tool until he was empowered to deliver Israel from the enemy; Father Lord, in the mighty name of Jesus, I know you have given me my rod already. Before now, it has been working as an ordinary rod, from today and this year, oh Lord, breathe upon my rod, brood over it, empower my rod and instruct me. From today, it has become a rod for signs and wonders in Jesus mighty name.

1 Chr 4: 9 -10 now Jabez was more honourable than his brethren. Though his mother called him pain and sorrow, he cried unto God for a change of name. Gen 32: 22 – 29, Jacob wrestled and prayed through. He prevailed and his name became Israel.

Declaration 4: Oh Lord, my Father, my Father, I totally surrender unto you, I need your help. Please arise to help me. Search me oh Lord, whatever evil, is associated with me, my name, my destiny and my future, as you turned Jabez's situation around and change Jacob to Israel, please change turn my situation positively indeed. Give me a divine turn around in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

Proverbs 10: 22..corollary – the enemy's blessing bringeth sorrow

Declaration 5: Father, all through Y2013, I want your blessings, your blessings and your blessings alone, I reject all lies, suggestions, baits and packages from the enemy. Therefore, this year, everywhere I go and turn, I will walk in favour and honour. I reject sorrow, failure, affliction and all form of infirmities. Your blessings this year will increase and enlarge my coasts in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

Phil 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Eccl 9:4 – I'm joined to the Living God

Declaration 6: Father Lord, I am joined to you, the living God, it is in you I live, I move and have my being in Y2013, therefore, I can do all things through Christ. To him that believeth all things are possible. Lord Jesus, inspire me to see greater and bigger dreams and empower me to realize them oh Lord, please empower me oh Lord.

Job 22: 28 - 29 You will also DECLARE a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your way. When they cast you down, and you will say 'exaltation will come'.

Personal and specific declarations - whatever your expectation for the year 2013, Declare Now! Speak it, don't keep quiet; Tell God what you want. Go ahead. Make bold declaration today and all through this week.

Remember, our God is the God of ALL FLESH, there is nothing too difficult for Him and your situation is certainly not beyond Him.

Do have a blessed week full of answers to prayers In Jesus mighty Name, Amen.

Shalom and Blessings!!!

Topic: The first time God was both grieved and sorry

A common phrase in the letters to the Seven Churches in Revelation was 'He who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the Churches'

I believe this phrase, nay warning, is more relevant and applicable to us now and there is a greater urgency and need to pay attention to His voice and heed His warnings.

The Day God became grieved. Gen 6; 6 - 8 'And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth....for I am sorry I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

Did I hear you sign and moan over the above scripture? Sadly so but its true that God was grieved then and there is a likelihood that God is grieving even at a greater proportion because of the spate and degree of wickedness upon the earth now.

It saddened God that every human being except Noah's immediate family would have to be destroyed. Just one family? Yes one family!!! Thinking deeply about the scripture, I'm certain God wasn't just sorry the day He expressed and verbalized His pains and grieves; it was an accumulated thing that led Him to decide - enough is enough....

Beloved, if God made the decision then, He can do it again. Will God do it? It is not a pleasure to God to destroy MAN whom He created in His image and likeness but He was compelled to do it then. Will you and I compel Him to do it again either directly or remotely?

There's however a ray of hope in that you, we are still alive and if Noah became a candidate for Grace, you, we can also become recipient of that same Grace. Better still, for those who have tasted of that Grace, let us not become complacent.

We are indeed in the dispensation of Grace and thanks goodness, Noah neither ignored nor took God's Grace for granted.

Let's think and ponder on these words. Let's do the needful...Selah.

Selah, dear saints!!!

Shalom and Blessings

Rhema in Due in Season (RiDs) - Tuesday 15th Jan 2013.

Topic: The haunted can become the loved and preserved.

As we continue our devotion with God, it's another good opportunity to be thankful and grateful for life, for good health, sound mind and above all, for the confidence that we have the sure mercies of God.

Our God is awesome and with Him, nothing shall be impossible because you carry His genotype, what others called impossibility become I'm Possible with you, halleluyah.

This morning, we will consider the story of Cain and a few other personalities in scripture to drive home the message that the haunted can become the preserved. Are you presently haunted over a matter, there is hope for you.

To be haunted does not necessarily connotes physical 'threat of death'. It can also be fear or any other form or worry or trouble; uncertainties one is experiencing regularly and may have become a source of concern.

Gen 4: 9 - 12 'And the Lord said unto Cain 'where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: am I my brother's keeper? And he said, what has thou done? The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground. And now art thou cursed from the earth which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand. When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shall thou be in the earth.'

Just imagine the weight of those heavy words, the prize he was to pay (and rightly so) for his anger and consequent actions. Just like Cain, we sometimes are unable to stay on the right path at all times and the consequences of our actions do often haunt us. Not because of any physical pronouncement as the one experienced by Cain but because we do have a conscience. And our conscience often do prompt us as well as remind us of the written consequences of our actions. Its is probably impossible not to sin while on earth, but the reason why the Bible says some will miss heaven is not because of their sins but because they refused to deal with it squarely.

Well, this morning, I have good news for you. Esau cried unto God and said (Gen 4: 13 - 14) my punishment is greater than I can bear. Behold thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass that every one that findeth me shall slay me.

The good news is when we cry unto God, He always hear us. Don't be deceived that He won't forgive you. And the Lord said unto him...therefore, whoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. What are merciful God. What dis Cain do to deserve such Grace and Mercy. The applicable law should have been death for his punishment.

Beloved, when we acknowledge our faults and shortcomings and call upon God for mercy and help; He is ever merciful. Psalm 46:1 says 'He is a very present in the time of trouble. Cain was surely troubled and God heard Him. The Lord even set a mark on Cain...Wow. What a merciful God. A man who should bear the full brunt of his anger and actions became protected and preserved.

Saul who became Paul was another typical case. Yet in Gal 6: 17...he could boldly declare 'From henceforth, let no man trouble me; for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus....

Beloved, you also can come under the mark. This is the dispensation of Grace. Grace to draw nearer and Grace to be preserved in His love and care.

The Grace is available to you and all around us.

May we not take the Grace of God for granted...

Beloved, this is a word to consider and respond to accordingly...Selah.

Shalom and Blessing!!!

Topic: The Word 'Net Promoter Score' (NPS) Club

I came across a specific verse of the word over 15 years ago. I will like us to consider this together as we allow the Holy Spirit to brood over and inspire us.

Psalm 68:11 'The Lord gave the word; great was the company of those who proclaimed it.

Just thinking about the verse, we can say that those who proclaim the word, God made them great. That is exactly the testimony David appeared to be sharing with us.

You want to excel, become great, and enlarge your territory? Then engage the Word and join the company of proclaimers.

What is 'proclaiming the Word' and how can we effectively do it in a consistent manner? Are there examples of those who proclaimed it in the past and became great? What is the definition of greatness in the context of this message?

To proclaim means to broadcast, publish, spread and disperse it abroad. You CAN only proclaim what you are confident to talk about.

Also, I found out today that there are veritable tools in our hands and around us to proclaim the word. The opportunities to employ the traditional methods (giving tracts, one-on-one witnessing, sharing your person testimony and encounter with God, demonstrating and being a living witness of the word) abound daily, and every now and then.

If you find the above methods crude and undignified, technology has just played into your hands. Today, the avenue to proclaim the word is right at your finger tips. You can prayerfully use any of them.

There is a principle called NPS - the net promoter score principle. It works simply be recommendation. You are already applying the NPS every now and then. Everything time you experienced a good service, more often than not, you freely and willing become an advocate and gleefully share the new encounter and quality of service. Why do we do that? Because we have experienced something new. You can ONLY proclaim what you have experienced.

This is what the Lord gives us freely 24/7. The Word of God is new everyday; every moment. There is a newness we experience when we study, and engage the Word with expectation. The Word is also available everywhere to access.

God gave the word but we WON'T experience it, neither are we going to proclaim it, unless we find time to engage the word and thereby contact the greatness God has reserved SPECIFICALLY for US. And if we don't, we may be denying ourselves some level of greatness in life.

Beloved, I'm sure one of your resolutions this year is to be blessed and become better than the previous year. I'm persuaded God can surpass that expectation if you become an active dweller in the word this year. 2 Tim 4: 2 amongst other things says 'be instant in season and out of season. I know there will be moments you don't feel like reading the word or proclaiming it - Bro Timothy says 'just keep at it'. Let's do it consistently this year. You can start now.

Beloved, its a New Year. The year is still very young and we can make definite adjustments now. We can trust Him to help us. He is a very present Help in the time of need.

Beloved, let's join the Lord's NPS Club and see God transform us from greatness to greatness.

Shalom and Blessings!!!

Topic: Where is your Rod?

I woke up in the early hours of today musing over the insights from yesterday's message. The more I dwell on the message, the more I'm persuaded that there's more to glean, learn and apply as we engage the Heavens for signs and wonders this year.

Exo 4: 2, 17 'And the Lord said unto him (Moses) what is that in thine hand? And he said, a Rod...And thou shall take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shall do signs.

Recall that Moses had been a shepherd for some years in his fugitive days with the Midianites. Accordingly, he must be an accomplished shepherd for Jethro to entrust him with his Herds.

The truth therefore is that every man has a rod.
Moses had a shepherd's rod. Samuel had a prophet's staff. Joshua had a warrior's weapon until his weapon was replaced with a leader's staff.
Gideon had a farming tool until he was empowered to deliver Israel from the enemy.

What is your hand? There is a common saying that no one is born empty handed. How do I know - Jer 1:5 'before I formed you in the womb, I knew. (He knows your entire make up). Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations. Beloved, you carry in you the genotype of God to excel in whatsoever He had ordained and empowered you for before you were born.

Maybe the question in your mind now is how do I discover the rod? Is it possible I'm misusing my rod? Some may even in the process of time may have lost their Rod and require some work to recover it. Or are you undermining yours?

Whatever your situation, as long as there is life, there is hope. As long as you are connected to the living this year, there is hope for you. Eccl 9;4 gives you hope of a better year and future.

You have been fully energised and packaged by God to excel. Until God pointed it out to Moses. It was just an ordinary.
I'm trusting the Lord to do same for as many as are willing this year. The rods of green poplar abound and for about 20 years or so of Jacob's sojourn with Laban. It took a divine visitation for Jacob to see.

I prophesy therefore, receive a divine visitation this season.

That encounter that will transform your ordinary rod to rod for signs and wonders receive it Now.

This is your moment for your visitation. The Lord is persuaded of better things of you.

Welcome to your season of signs and wonders.

Its your time for a massive challenge.

Shalom and Blessings!!!

Topic: Rods of green Poplar.

Traditionally, rods are used by shepherds even in Bible days to lead the flocks. It is as it were an ordinary stick in the hands of the shepherds but can direct herds of cattle when wielded by an experienced shepherd. Give it to a novice, and the result is calamity.

The subject of Rods in the Bible fascinated me recently and I decided to study it further. I will like to share some insights with you.

Exo 4: 2, 17 'And the Lord said unto him (Moses) what is that in thine hand? And he said, a Rod...And thou shall take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shall do signs.

Gen 30: 37 - 42 'And Jacob took him rods of green poplar, and of the hazel and chestnut tree; and pilled white strakes in them, and made the white appear which was in the rods. And he set the rods which he had pilled before the flocks in the gutters in the watering troughs when the flocks came to drink, that they should conceive when they came to drink. And the flocks conceived before the rods, and BROUGHT FORTH cattle with ringstraked, speckled, and spotted. And Jacob did separate the lambs, and set the faces of the flocks toward the ringstraked, and all the brown in the flock of Laban; and he put his own flocks by themselves, and put them not unto Laban's cattle. And it came to pass whensoever the stronger cattle did conceive, that Jacob laid the rods before the eyes of the cattle in the gutters, that they might conceive among the rods. But when the cattle were feeble, he put them not in; so the feebler were Laban's and the stronger Jacob's.

Wow!!!. Not sure you are seeing what I am seeing. I thought it was just an ordinary rod to direct the herds. Our God is the scientist of scientists. With just the rod, the destiny of Jacob was determined. All his years of exploitation and servitude were over. Jacob became prosperous not with something outside his purview but with the same weapon he has been accustomed to for several years as a shepherd.

What you see determines what you conceive and what you conceive determines what you bring forth. The stronger animals looking at the poplar trees with strakes brought forth speckled animals. Where did Jacob got this revelation?

Please read Gen 31; 10 - 13 and see the wonders of our God. Also, the rod of Moses was ordinary until God breathe upon it.

Beloved, what is in the hand this season?

In Exodus 15: 22 - 27. The Marah challenge was reversed by the visions of God. God pointed Moses to a tree that healed the waters.

The widow of one of the sons of the prophet in 2 Kings 4; 1 - 7 thought she had nothing until God opened her eyes.

I am persuaded that your situation is not beyond God. There is a rod at your disposal for you to perform signs and wonders. All that is needed is to locate it.

In this year of signs and wonders, discover your RODs, and begin to perform exploits. Walk in your high places and excel.

Shalom and Blessings!!!

Topic: Watch Out!!!

Yesterday, we considered the fall of man in Gen 3. Fundamentally, it became clear to us that the enemy (devil) has nothing new to offer.

Read it again Gen 3: 5 'For God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes shall be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil'

The devil operates through a mixture of lies, half truth and deception. Now we are very clear about something that 'All things were created by Christ (God). John 1:3 reads 'All things (ALL MEANS ALL) were made through Him (CHRIST) and without Him nothing was made that was made (Selah). It means therefore that the Devil has nothing, absolutely no power to create anything.

If you want PEACE that will last, hold on to Jesus.

You want BLESSINGS that won't turn to sorrow, go to the original manufacturer. Prov 10: 22.

Beloved, whatever Christ CAN'T give you, no other power on earth can give. Phil 4: 13 - I CAN DO all things through CHRIST who strengthens me.

Beware of anyone who always seems to have many alternatives to offer. Man fell because Eve believed the lies and manipulation of the devil. Sadly, man is still falling. Very painful indeed. Adam and Eve were already like God. They were made in the image of God. The serpent didn't give them something new. It was already given. Yet the bait pushed Eve to eat of the tree without consultation.

Joshua 9: 14 - 15 gives us a clue to overcoming deception. 'Then the men of Israel took some of their provisions; but they did not seek or ask counsel of the Lord... Beloved, to overcome that temptation or lie, the solution is to seek counsel from the Lord. I call it 'checking with the Spirit of truth'. When we don't check and believed a lie, it becomes a snare. Joshua was hopelessly unable to break his covenant with the Gibeonites because he had sworn by His God to them.

Watch out!!!

When the devil came to deceive Jesus in Matt 4, it was the same thing. A mixture of lies, half truth and deception.

John 8: 44 reveals in reference to the Jews who came to challenge the words of Jesus 'You are of your father the devil, and desires of your father you want to do (if you find yourself always going against the truth, you probably need to examine yourself). He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because THERE is NO TRUTH in him (the devil). When he speaks, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.'

Beloved, Res ipsa loquitur - the facts speak for itself. You don't need anyone to deceive you or admonish you

Watch Out and don't be afraid of saying No.

Take Care and let the Lord be your ALL in ALL this year.

Shalom and Blessings!!!

Topic: Watch that thought....

A critical challenge to the body of Christ today is knowing what God is saying unto His body. While we are certain that Prophets abound, who are daily pointing us in the way we should go; so also are 'prophets' whose god is their belly and all their 'pronouncements' are mainly to point the church also to their 'god' - in this instance to their belly.

The focus of this message is not on who is for God or for their belly; it is a caution to every believer to pay attention to their thoughts. We know that Job 32: 8 says that there is a spirit in man, and the inspiration of the almighty giveth them understanding.

We also know that in most instances - God will speak to our spirit and the voice of God must be discerned. In 1 Sam 3, although Samuel was hearing the voice of God, he was unable to discern the source. He did not even know that it was the voice of God, talk less of knowing how to respond to Him. Don't tell me it was because Samuel was a boy - Samuel needed to be guided to discern God's voice and respond accordingly.

The reason why Eve fell (and subsequently the whole world) was because the devil was cunny and crafty. Gen 3: 1 - 5 'Now the serpent was more cunning than any other beast of the field which the Lord God had made. (Note that the serpent was not the devil but the devil used and manipulated the capability of the serpent to tempt Eve). And he said to the woman, has God indeed said you shall not eat of every tree of the garden (with benefit of hindsight, please watch those tricky questions. If God did not allow them to eat of the trees of the garden, what will they feed on?). And the woman said to the serpent "we may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, 'you shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die. (Where was Adam when the serpent came calling? What would have been if Adam was there? If Eve had shared the full details of her conversation with the serpent with Adam before attempting to eat...) Then the serpent said to the woman 'you will not surely die (the serpent attacked the consequences first before selling the bait - nothing will happen, don't mind God, you aren't going to die). For God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes shall be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.

Very painful indeed. Adam and Eve were already like God. They were made in the image of God. The serpent didn't give them something new. It was already given. Yet the bait pushed Eve to eat of the tree without consultation.

Beloved, what is the mind of God to you today 'when you are not sure, seek counsel'. Prov 15; 22 'without counsel, plans go awry but in the multitude of counsels, they are established. Test all spirits and I dare to say watch and test all thoughts to preserve your destiny. 1 John 4: 1 'dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God... The truth is until you test something - you may not know otherwise?

Beloved, a lot depends on your personal decisions this year.

I believe the Lord want us to be different this year. He will like us to pay attention to our thoughts.

Watch your thoughts, for they become words...Watch your habits, for they become character. Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny....

Please watch those thoughts and be on your guard at all times.

Shalom and Blessings!!!

Topic; Faith and Determination
Faith is that universal force that translate the erstwhile invisible to visible. Through faith we understand that this known world was framed by God such that the things that are seen were made of things which were not seen. Heb 11:3.

The visible from the invisible. The tangibles from the in- tangibles and the real from situations and circumstances that certainly are otherwise hopeless.

I know we have said this earlier in one of my previous write up. Looking eyes are many, seeing eyes are few. In the same vein, hearing ears abound but discerning ears are indeed few. However, through the force of faith, the things that are discerned, are also seen and what we see; we attract; and what we attract, we own.

Gen 22: 7 - 8 'But Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said "my father and he said 'here I am, my son". Then, he (Isaac related what the looking eyes saw) said, look, the fire and the wood but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? And Abraham said (hear the response of a man who had seen the invisible) "my son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering. So the two of them went together (emphasis mine).

Beloved, how many of us will speak the same words under similar circumstances. We fret, we carry around the force of fear and in most instances even disperse fear to others where faith had hitherto been operational. If the words of Abraham were spoken in fear, there would have been further questions from Isaac. The force of faith should put a stop to the operations of the spirit of doubt and unbelief; it did for Abraham. It will for you also.

Similarly in Dan 3: 16 - 18, the three Hebrew children while looking at the fierce and flaming fire of destruction spoke with the voice and force of faith. All others looked and saw flaming consuming fire but they saw an air conditioned room of fellowship and prayers - halleluyah.

Beloved, your God, whom you are serving is able to deliver you, from the burning fiery furnace. Learn this - faith do not deny the physicality of danger. It was the burning fiery furnace. To Abraham, it was the demand of God to sacrifice Isaac; Isaac his only son of covenant.

Beloved, the scripture still abounds of many who obtained a good report on account of their continuous expression of faith.

A sister was driving at the highway last weekend when her car developed a problem. Her initial thoughts were stop and tow the vehicle but the force of faith moved in. She started praying by repeatedly saying 'the wonders of the name of Jesus'. Though the car wasn't performing as expected, she continued to declare the name of Jesus over the car. In her words, the car suddenly picked up and took her home safely. She got the miracle because she did not stop the car but kept on declaring through faith - the wonders of the name of Jesus.

Beloved, in Y2013, you can have what you desire. Your expectation shall not be cut off.

Start Now! Dream big dreams! Break up the fallow ground! The yoke of stagnation is broken. The Lord conquered for you hell and death several years ago. The Lion of the tribe of Judah did not prevailed for Himself - He did it for you - you child of God.

This year, you can shape and determine your success stories and testimonies.

What are you waiting for - start Now, begin to walk in your high places.

Shalom and Blessings!!!

Topic: Your Season of Signs and Wonders
Beloved,
I bless the Lord God for what we are about to look at this morning. Knowing that our God is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, the one who was, who is and who is to come, gives us insight into the wealth of God's unlimited ability and resources that transverse time and season. The import of the above becomes more potent when we consider the fact that with our God 'there's no vacancy for impossibility' for with God, all things are possible.
It is in the light of 'with God all things are possible' that I would like us to meditate on the central focus of God for year 2013.
Isa 8: 18 'Here am I, and the children whom the Lord has given me. We are for signs and wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, who dwells in Mount Zion'. Looking closely at the above, 3 things are inevitable this year:

Topic: Time to Arise is Now
Beloved,
Welcome to Day 3 of the new year wherein God has packaged for you and yours blessings and unlimited Joy.
As we continue to look up to God for direction in Y2013, may I also remind you that you have what it takes to excel already.
I need you to come along with me as we ponder on some scriptures this morning. A close study of Numbers 13 and 14 revealed that God sealed the faith of the people based on their utterances. This is no longer news to us. What would have been if all the spies came back with very good and inspiring report? What would have been if the rest of spies stopped to ponder and consider the words of Caleb in Num 13: 30?
Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses and said "Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it". But the men..... I plead with you this year, don't allow the 'reports' of previous years hold you spell bound to the same spot. Don't allow the failure of others to determine your success.
This would have been the turning point for Israel to change the negatives to positives and unleash the forces of Heaven to fight for them, but they missed it. You will not miss your opportunities this year.

Topic: It's a New Year - Speak Out, Take Charge
Beloved,
Welcome to Year 2013 once again. The Lord who brought you in did so for a reason and a purpose. Certainly, because He has you in His plans for Year 2013. God having us in His plans is one thing; aligning ourselves and actualizing the plans is something else.
To maximise the opportunities that this year present to us, we have to take charge. Beloved, there are things that God will do a man and surely things that a man will do for self.
God will give you the vision but execution is in your hands. A farmer who only prays for success all through the year without going out to acquire land for the real cultivation will harvest the wind at the end of the year.
Remember the story of David when Goliath threatened the army of the most high God.
1 Sam 17: 23 - David heard the words of Goliath but unlike the rest of the army of Israel who were afraid, David had an Holy anger. Why was David different from the others? It was because He knew the God that he served. They that know their God shall be strong (in the midst of opposition or attacks), and do exploits. Dan 11: 32b.
