Rhema in Due Season (RiDs) - Friday 11th Jan 2013

Topic: Where is your Rod?

I woke up in the early hours of today musing over the insights from yesterday's message. The more I dwell on the message, the more I'm persuaded that there's more to glean, learn and apply as we engage the Heavens for signs and wonders this year.

Exo 4: 2, 17 'And the Lord said unto him (Moses) what is that in thine hand? And he said, a Rod...And thou shall take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shall do signs.

Recall that Moses had been a shepherd for some years in his fugitive days with the Midianites. Accordingly, he must be an accomplished shepherd for Jethro to entrust him with his Herds.

The truth therefore is that every man has a rod.
Moses had a shepherd's rod. Samuel had a prophet's staff. Joshua had a warrior's weapon until his weapon was replaced with a leader's staff.
Gideon had a farming tool until he was empowered to deliver Israel from the enemy.

What is your hand? There is a common saying that no one is born empty handed. How do I know - Jer 1:5 'before I formed you in the womb, I knew. (He knows your entire make up). Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations. Beloved, you carry in you the genotype of God to excel in whatsoever He had ordained and empowered you for before you were born.

Maybe the question in your mind now is how do I discover the rod? Is it possible I'm misusing my rod? Some may even in the process of time may have lost their Rod and require some work to recover it. Or are you undermining yours?

Whatever your situation, as long as there is life, there is hope. As long as you are connected to the living this year, there is hope for you. Eccl 9;4 gives you hope of a better year and future.

You have been fully energised and packaged by God to excel. Until God pointed it out to Moses. It was just an ordinary.
I'm trusting the Lord to do same for as many as are willing this year. The rods of green poplar abound and for about 20 years or so of Jacob's sojourn with Laban. It took a divine visitation for Jacob to see.

I prophesy therefore, receive a divine visitation this season.

That encounter that will transform your ordinary rod to rod for signs and wonders receive it Now.

This is your moment for your visitation. The Lord is persuaded of better things of you.

Welcome to your season of signs and wonders.

Its your time for a massive challenge.

Shalom and Blessings!!!
