Beloved,
Welcome to another day that the Lord has made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it. I know today's date 12/12/12 is unique. Interestingly, it's the last of the repeating dates that create a numerological uniqueness. The interesting thing being that the next unique date will be seen in another 90 years 01/01/01 (Jan 1, 2101). Notwithstanding the uniqueness of today's date, God is forever faithful to His word daily and today is not an exception for God's signs and wonders.
Today, we want to place emphasis on the Word, what we see, our utterances and expectations.
Jer 1: 12 'Then the Lord said to me, you have seen well, for I am ready to perform my word.
Prov 23: 7 'For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he....
Num 13: 33 'And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak of the giants and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
1 Sam 17: 44 'And the Philistine said to David "come to me, I will give your flesh to the birds of the air...
1 Sam 17: 45 - 46 'Then David said to the Philistine "You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day, I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
I have taken time to quote the above verses because your success in life starts with you. Yes I know that no man can receive anything, except it be given from above, but you have a significant role to play. You are the architect of your own house. God will supply the enablement but you ve got to build. Recall, it was Noah who built the Ark - not Angels or some spirits.
Let's note the following:
1. Frankly, what you have not seen as a possibility, you will not likely even expect a manifestation. And though the opportunities present itself to you on a platter of gold, you may not even notice it. God likened seeing to performance. You have seen well, for I am ready to perform my word (that you have seen or discern). This week, you shall see well in Jesus mighty Name.
2. What you see influence your thoughts and as a man thinketh, so is he. There are many in life who would have had many successful testimonies but the pictures of failure and disappointment of the pasts are still hunting them. The man at the pool of Bethesaida was hunted by his past failures - I have no man. John 5; 1 - 9.
3. Failure comes and abides when a man receives and open up to the lies of the devil. Isreal said 'we were in our own sights as grasshoppers'. When Goliath declared his evil agenda, David didn't pray silent prayers. David didn't reject his utterances in his mind; David responded and countered every evil and negative utterances and projections of failure from Goliath immediately.
4. Do you know that the fore runner of failure, sickness and affliction is fear? The only fear permittable by God is the fear of the Lord. Every other fear leads to failure and often open you up for the devil's attack.
Beloved, let's do a soul and spirit search today. Do you harbour some fears? Are you still dwelling on that negative utterances against you by some prophets of doom?
My final word to you is this 'whose report will you believe?
Don't forget, its the Season for signs and wonders and with God, all things are possible. Eccl 9; 4 says there is great hope for you in this season for a miracle.
What are you waiting for? Get rid of every fear of failure haunting or planted in your heart and replace them all with the words of hope for this Egyptian that you see today, you shall see them no more.
