How great Thou art

Galatians 3:13-14 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”  He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.e shall continue from last Sunday:
The greatest thing we got from Calvary is found in Galatians 3:13-14.
1. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law.
2. He obtained The Blessing of Abraham for Us
The mighty forces operating on earth are always in twos: light vs darkness, life vs death, blessings vs curses. Deuteronomy 30:119.
A curse is an unseen force that hinders progress; causing efforts to fail with the sole aim of the destroying the victim.
You know someone is cursed when the person is almost succeeding but keeps failing. Deuteronomy 28:15-End
The reason a curse comes upon anyone is to see to it that the fellow perish quickly.
Joshua pronounced a curse in Joshua 6:20-End and the result in 2 Kings 2:19.
Jacob pronounced a curse on whoever caught with gods of his inlaw Genesis 31:26-35 and the result noted in Genesis 35:16-20
A curse flows like a river.
When a curse is broken, there will be tremendous changes 2 Kings 2:19-22
Decree: On the authority of the Most High God, I decree over all my children, any curse that may have been flowing through your family line is broken today.
Jacob pronounced a curse on his first three sons including Levi in Genesis 49:1-7, but because of their consecration in Exodus 32:15-26, God rebuked the curse over them. Numbers 3:5-13
At Calvary, God revoked the curse of the law and replaced it with the Blessing of Abraham.
If there is a curse operating in your life that has been making it difficult for you to stay strong in the Lord, I decree that curse will end right now.
A Blessing is a summon to all forces in heaven, on earth and underneath the earth to gang up so that a person will succeed. Genesis 27:22-29
The Power of a Blessing is tremendous.
1. The Blessing leads to rapid promotion
When a man is cursed, he'll be working like an elephant and eating like an ant, while a blessed man can eat like an elephant even when he is working like an ant. Genesis 48:8-20
Prayer: I pray for someone today, that the Holy Spirit Himself will direct a double portion of the Blessing upon you.
2. When you're blessed, no human-being can curse you; not even a witch or forces of darkness or false prophet can curse you and it will stick. Numbers 23:8
If God does not curse you, anyone trying to curse you is wasting his time. If that fellow has no delegated authority from God, he cannot curse you.
If God blesses you, even when your enemy opens his mouth to curse, it is blessings that will be coming out. Numbers 23:9-12
The Blessings of Abraham: Genesis 12:1-3
1. You'll become a great nation. No matter how great you are, you can become a 1000 times greater. Deuteronomy 1:11, Genesis 46:26-27, Exodus 12:37
 2. I will bless thee. Proverbs 10:22, Genesis 24:34-35
3. I will make your name great. Acts 11:26. As a Christian, you're named after Christ. Phillipians 2:9-11
Prayer: From now on in the mighty name of Jesus, your name will be opening doors!
4. You shall be a blessing. Every Christian is not only blessed but a blessing. Matthew 18:18
5. I will bless those who bless you. Mark 9:41
6. I will curse him who curses you. Galatians 6:7-8.
7. In thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed. Matthew 28:18-20.
Why Calvary?
Why did Jesus willingly sacrifice Himself? John 10:18
He gave Himself because of His love for you and I. John 15:13
His love for you is so great, He says He will never leave you nor forsake you.
What does God expect of you after giving Himself for you? John 15:9-14
Your obedience is all He requires of you.
God loves you and He promises to standby you always; the best friend you can ever have is the Jesus Christ.
Altar Call: If you have not given your life to Jesus Christ, His blood is still flowing today.
Bow before Him and cry unto Him for your salvation. Ask that the Lord will forgive you your sins and save your soul, wash you clean by His blood and give to you a new beginning.
If you just said the above prayer, please ensure your details get across to us.
