Topic: The Power of Testimonies
Text: Mark 10:46-52
46 And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number
of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.
47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son
of David, have mercy on me.
48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal,
Thou son of David, have mercy on me.
49 And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying
unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.
50 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.
51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee?
The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.
52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately
he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
Faith comes by Hearing. Romans 10:17.
Fear also comes by Hearing. Joshua 2:1-11
Therefore, be careful what you hear and who you listen to. Revelations 2:7.
The Lord is saying concerning someone, tonight the wind will blow.
You can choose to listen to the Spirit of God or the devil who is a liar. John 8:44.
Bartimaeus couldn't see but he HEARD the Testimonies of others about what Jesus could do.
Mark 5:35-43, Matthew 9:23-26. Testimonies are so powerful that you need
only two things to overcome the devil. Testimony is one. Revelation 12:10-11.
The nature of testimony:
1. You can HEAR it. Joshua 9:13-11. Testimonies will increase your Faith.
2. You can SHARE it. 2 Kings 5:1-3
3. You can REPEAT it. 2 Kings 5:4
4. You can HAVE it. Mark 1:40-45
5. You can LOSE it. 2kings 4:18-20
6. You can RECOVER it. 2 Kings 4:18-37. Every testimony you have lost,
you will recover before tomorrow morning! In the name of the one who made the heavens and earth,
all the testimonies you’ve lost will be restored speedily. Every gift that you have lost will
be restored to you today!
7. You can be a PRODUCER of it. 2kings 5:9-14.The most beautiful aspect of testimonies
is to be the producer of it. I pray today you’ll have a fresh testimony, those you already
have you’ll never lose them,those you lost they’ll be fully restored and that you’ll
become a producer of testimonies yourself in Jesus name.
Testimony categories.
1. Testimonies that come after a miracle John 9:1-25
2. Testimony before the miracle. 2 Kings 4:18-23
3. Testimonies based on faith. Shunammite woman saying ALL IS WELL! 2 Kings 4:25-26
4. Testimonies based on agreement Matthew 18:19
I decree in the mighty name of Jesus Christ the son of the living God every medical
report contrary to your well being is cancelled in Jesus name.
There can be no agreement between a believer and an unbeliever.
2 Corinthians 6:14-16. Rain can beat a side of the tree and not beat the other,
your prayer of agreement can be in vain if you are still in sin. Come to Jesus now!
Talk to Jesus. Please save my soul, receive me into your family.
The power in the blood of Jesus Christ should wash me clean.
Ask Him to make you a Child of God. Beloved, only Jesus can give us a lasting testimony.
Give your life to Him and let Him save your soul. Let Him wash you clean.
Let Him give you a brand new beginning.
Ask God for something that looks extremely difficult!
Hold someone on your Right and Your Left! Pray in agreement with your neighbors.
